Never Go For A Mani Again

ManiMe

I’ve fallen victim to another Instagram ad. They know me so well. This product brings me back to my early teens when press-on nails were all the rage and looked incredibly fake. I remember the sticky adhesive that wasn’t strong enough to withstand the simplest tasks like unbuttoning my pants.

ManiMe is another species of press-ons. The look mimics a gel mani and it takes 20 minutes, max, to apply. One con is the application process definitely takes practice. At $15-$25 a pop you better get good quick! The pack of gel nails comes with an extra set of 5 incase you mess up but the instructions are thorough.

Before purchasing the nails you have to virtually measure your nails. It doesn’t take too long and is reassuring. The nails you’re ordering are custom cut to fit your nails! If you’ve ever purchased Warby Parker glasses it’s the same process as measuring your pupillary distance, expect with your nails.

I struggled with the first application attempt but the second was a great experience. It’s especially convenient for moms! No drying time. I think I will continue to purchase for special occasions or emergencies when I don’t have time for a traditional mani.
